In Priya's words
You don’t need to have everything figured out to start feeling better — you just need a space where you can be honest, supported, and understood. I offer therapy that’s down-to-earth, collaborative, and tailored to what you actually need. I work with adults and children navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship issues, and my niche – the lasting impact of childhood trauma. Unresolved trauma can quietly shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and respond to stress — often without us even realizing it. Working through it can be a powerful step toward breaking old patterns and building a more solid sense of self – ultimately feeling better day-to-day.

Sessions with me are comfortable, focused, and built to help you make real, lasting change. Having lived in several countries around the world, I bring a deep respect for cultural identity, diversity, and the many ways people adapt to life’s pressures. With experience across both private and community health settings, I have learnt how to meet people exactly where they are and help them move toward where they want to be — with clarity, intention, and self-compassion.
My style is warm and curious, with a dose of humour when it’s needed most. I don’t believe therapy has to be stiff or scripted — I show up as a real person and invite you to do the same.
When I’m not in sessions, I’m a busy mom to two young children, goofing around and making memories. To refuel myself, I travel, play string instruments, watch Netflix crime thrillers and, of course, indulge in food!!
I believe that each of us has a unique and powerful story that deserves to be heard and validated in a place where you feel safe, authentic and present.

A few questions, answered
The love for connecting with people and curiosity of knowing them was the beginning, and people around me noticed that I could talk through people’s emotions and bring hope; many conversations that started with tears have ended with smiles which helped me realize that if I could make a difference in someone’s life, that would be the best thing to do in my life!
What I cherish most about being a psychotherapist is the opportunity to witness clients' growth and transformation which is incredibly rewarding, and I find deep satisfaction in supporting them navigating their challenges, uncovering their strengths, and working toward their goals. I find myself in perpetual awe of the extraordinary ability of the human brain to heal and change, and the resilience of humankind that brings hope. I strive hard every day to bring this hope to my clients, one session at a time!
I would respond to someone’s hesitation in coming to counselling with validation and curiosity. The resistance can be a rich source of information about them, and I would like to explore that in a sensitive and safe environment along with them.
I’m grateful for life and all its ups and downs that keep me humble and shape me every day.
Every parent should know that validating your child and being with them ‘in the moment’ goes a long way.
Trauma is not just what happened to you, it could be what did not - the safety you didn’t get, the love you didn’t feel, and space where you can be yourself. Your trauma can be unique and it’s important to understand and heal.
