What I Do?

For the past 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and teens, a group that continues to inspire and motivate me every day. My career began as a Child and Youth Care Practitioner, where I discovered a deep passion for helping young people feel seen, supported, and valued. That experience guided me toward my goal of becoming a social worker, allowing me to continue fostering resilience and growth in children, youth and individuals.

In therapy, I take time to truly understand each person and their story. What matters to them, and what challenges they face. I believe everyone has the capacity to grow and heal when they feel understood and accepted. Together, we move at a pace that feels right for you, working as a team to create meaningful change.

My hope is that each session helps you feel lighter and more connected to yourself. I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you as we nurture self-compassion and acceptance in a space that feels safe, supportive, and genuine.

I Believe

“You have within you, right now, everything you need to deal with whatever the world can throw at you.”

Frequently Asked Questions With Lisa

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions that we receive. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

From a young age I’ve always been drawn to listening and helping others make sense of their experiences, and therapy felt like a natural way to turn that compassion into meaningful, professional support.

My favourite moments are the small ones, when a client laughs for the first time in weeks, or realizes they’re not alone in what they’re feeling.

Therapy is about working together to understand what’s going on and figuring out what feels most helpful for you. You get to set the pace, and my role is simply to support you along the way.

So many things! Seeing the growth and change and watching my clients believe in themself again.

It’s ok to not have all the answers! Connection matters more than perfection. Being present and validating emotions can have a lasting impact.
