What I Do?

On your path, you might encounter thoughts, beliefs, and experiences that hinder your true potential. Facing mornings with dread, lacking drive, or feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands? You’re not alone in this. Together, we can confront the stress, depression, anxiety, and past burdens that constrain you. We’ll delve into your thought processes, reshape them, and steer you towards a life brimming with purpose. Let’s uncover the obstacles and ignite your true calling. As your therapist, I ensure a secure and empathetic space where you can delve into your aspirations, obstacles, and chances for personal evolution.

Having personally faced and overcome disability challenges, I intimately understand the added layers of complexity and emotions that come with it. The journey through my own struggles has not only strengthened my empathy but also equipped me with a unique perspective on resilience and adaptability. I believe that our adversities, when approached with the right mindset, can become powerful catalysts for growth. By sharing our experiences and insights, we can together craft a path that acknowledges these challenges while focusing on the immense potential within you. Let’s navigate this journey hand in hand, combining professional knowledge with personal understanding.

Frequently Asked Questions With Joel

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions that we receive. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

I have always enjoyed helping individuals, and as a teenager, I often told people that my goal was to assist them in becoming who they wanted to be. During my late teens, I had the opportunity to mentor others, which was incredibly rewarding. This experience solidified my desire to become a counselor, as I found great fulfillment in supporting and guiding others on their journeys.

My favorite aspect of being a therapist is walking with individuals on their journey and watching them discover the hope and healing they need.

I think it is normal to feel hesitant or resistant to the idea of talking to a stranger about your problems. It takes courage to start, and by taking that first step, you will learn about yourself and gain greater insight into your circumstances. Remember, asking for help is not a weakness but a strength.

It energizes me to know that I have the opportunity to make a difference and help people have a more fulfilling life.

Every couple should know that long-term relationships require continuous effort, communication, and adaptability to build a resilient, loving, and fulfilling long-term relationship.

A great misconception is that individuals define being traumatized by experiencing a grandiose event, but the important aspect of trauma is a) how we perceive the event and b) whether is it disturbing enough to damage their souls.
