What I Do?

A failure is not a mistake, it may simply be the best one can do under the circumstances. The real mistake is to stop trying. B.F. Skinner

I really like this quote because for me, to FAIL means…Finding A way In Life. I am a passionate individual who believes that we all have a story to tell and a journey to be walked. I am excited that you have found your way to seeking some assistance in your journey. During my 10+ years of working in the mental health field, as well as my personal mental health journey, I have discovered that oftentimes the answers are within us. Sometimes we simply need guidance to help us discover them. I would be honoured to walk alongside you as you make your discoveries. I use a client-centered approach where you are the expert in your own walk of life. Together we will work toward insights using a variety of potential approaches that best suit your needs. I will both hear and help hold your pain.

Frequently Asked Questions With Catherine

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions that we receive. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

I went through a tough time where I myself needed to reach out for support. I was helped by a great therapist who had an impression on me and helped motivate me to change my occupation.

I really enjoy being able to help people see the strengths they have within themselves.

It takes a lot of courage to reach out and ask for help. The biggest step is making that first call. From that point on there is a tremendous amount of potential growth that is awaiting you.

I am most grateful for family and friends. Nothing beats having a coffee date with someone you care about and the opportunity to share.

The one thing I have always said is that the hardest part of being a parent is watching your child fall. Breaks your heart but it has to happen so that growth can occur.

At one point in my life, I spoke publicly about my struggles and got a lot of positive responses. I had many people approach me with their own stories, saying they had never told anyone “this” before.
