Adult Comprehensive
Psychoeducational Assessment

Our assessments provide a detailed understanding of cognitive, academic, emotional, and psychological functioning. We use standardized measures to identify learning disorders, attention difficulties (ADHD/ADD), and mental health conditions that may impact daily life, academic success, or occupational performance.

Intake Interview with Psychometrist

Prior to or at this interview you will be asked to review and sign the evaluation for assessment contract ensuring delivery of services with informed consent.

A comprehensive interview gathers relevant history, including developmental, medical, family, academic, and occupational background. We analyze:

• For adult students:  Report cards, Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and past assessments.
• For adults:  Workplace challenges, past accommodations, and how psychological factors influence professional and personal life.

Testing for Adults

Depending on the level of assessment best suited for you and that you have agreed to, you will receive the first series of screeners which allow us to make decisions about our battery of assessments to follow. A trained psychometrist administers standardized assessments to evaluate:

• Cognitive strengths and weaknesses.
• Academic abilities (for students and adults in academic settings).
• Emotional and psychological well-being.
• Executive functioning, attention, and memory.
• Work-related cognitive and emotional functioning.

Interview with Supervising Psychologist

Following initial intake with the psychometrist and/or testing, the supervising psychologist conducts a structured interview to:

• Clarify clinical impressions.
• Discuss symptom presentation in different contexts (e.g., school, work, social life).
• Ensure diagnostic accuracy for conditions like ADHD, ASD, and mood disorders.
• This meeting does not include communication of a diagnosis, although if it is found that further testing is required to ensure accuracy, you will be given the option to accept the invitation or decline.

Analysis & Report

The psychologist scores and interprets results, prepares a detailed report, and provides diagnostic impressions where appropriate. The report includes:

• 20-minute diagnostic meeting with the psychologist approximately 15 days after evaluation has been completed.
• Summary of findings and recommendations.
• Diagnoses (if applicable) with implications for school, work, and daily life.
• Strategies for improving academic, professional, and personal well-being.

Diagnostic & Feedback Meeting

We review the results, explain diagnoses (if any), and discuss the next steps. Tailored recommendations include:

• For adult students:  Individual Education Plans (IEPs), learning accommodations, and intervention strategies.
• For adults:  Workplace accommodations, strategies for managing stress, and executive functioning supports.
