What I Do?

I love people and considerit a privilege to walk alongside them through their struggles and empower them to become all that God created them to be. My goal is to help you overcome issues and develop strategies to reach your maximum potential through Spirit-led counselling. My priority is to provide a caring, accepting and nurturing environment in which I help you develop tools to overcome the situations you are facing now, and give you the ability to apply these tools to other situations that arise in the future.

I bring with me a broad range of experience and expertise from over 24 years of providing therapy to couples and individuals. I know that looking at a person as a whole is the most powerful way to understand them, given that body, mind and spirit are interrelated.

I want people to know that their past wounds do not have to define them. Having the courage and strength to deal with these wounds is what defines people and leads them to greater freedom.

I believe that being a psychotherapist is my true calling in life; I have a deep abiding passion for it. I would consider it an honour and privilege to partner with you. You do not have to go through this alone.

Frequently Asked Questions With Nancy

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions that we receive. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

I know it sounds cliché to say that I have always wanted to help people, but it’s true. I saw and heard of the pain that people were dealing with, and I wanted to learn how to help them.

I love giving people the space and freedom to process, without judgement. I believe that when you give people the space to be themselves, and the space to work through pain, transformation and freedom can be experienced.

I would say this is a natural reaction. It can be scary to share your experiences and pain with another person. But I would also say that sharing your struggles with a counsellor who provides knowledge and empathy can be important factors in bringing about real change.

I am most grateful for the people in my life that saw me for me. The ones who believed in me and called things out in me that I couldn’t see yet.

I am energized when walls break down and clients begin to believe that things can be different.

To never stop learning how to impact people with love, grace and wisdom.
