What I Do?

I hold a bachelor of social work degree from Lakehead University and a Master of Social Work from McMaster University. I work from a holistic, strength based and trauma informed perspective. I view the therapeutic relationship and unconditional positive regard as being essential to successful therapy. I am also informed by evidence- based modalities and continuously engage in professional development. I am trained and experienced in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solutions focused counselling, narrative therapy, trauma treatment and mindfulness. I have 10 years of experience as a social worker, and over 7 years of experience as a child and family therapist.

I Believe

“It’s a rewarding and privileged experience to walk along the path of self-empowerment with my clients.

I would be honoured to take the journey with you.”

Frequently Asked Questions With Inna

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions that we receive. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

I have always been drawn towards connecting with people and hearing their stories. My experiences travelling and living abroad helped me to realize that my passion is learning about the human condition and finding meaning and purpose in the struggles we all endure. I wanted to do work that gave me a sense of purpose and allowed me to positively impact others.

The most fulfilling part of being a therapist is witnessing people overcome struggles and barriers, create positive change and empower themselves to create the life they want.

It is only natural to feel apprehensive about sharing your innermost thoughts and struggles, especially if this is not something that you are accustomed to. It is important to acknowledge your strength and courage for being willing to embark on the journey of healing and growth. Please have certainty that this journey will take you towards finding inner peace. Trust your instincts and go at a pace that feels right to you and find a therapist who makes you feel safe.

I am most grateful for my family and the love and joy they bring into my life.

The words we say to our children become the thoughts they hear in their minds as they get older.

Trauma is an internal process rather than an external event. In the words of Dr. Gabor Maté, “trauma is what happens inside of you as a result of what happened to you”

Talking allows us to process and understand.
